RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION, AND FREQUENCY CHANNEL SELECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a frequency channel hardly affected by an interfering signal or noise electric power at a radio communication system using a frequency hopping scheme.

SOLUTION: This radio communication system includes a plurality of base stations installed along a predetermined path and a plurality of mobile stations moving on the predetermined path. Each of the plurality of base stations has first and second hopping tables, and selects a hopping table to be used according to the situation of the interfering signal. A frequency channel is set up beforehand in the hopping tables so that interference may not occur with adjacent base stations whichever hopping tables is selected. Thereby, it is not necessary to transmit and receive preliminary information such as an operating situation for a frequency channel between the base stations, and an optimal frequency channel without interference can be selected.
