<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system capable of being used in a simple manner by a driver as a substitute for an ETC system, while reducing the cost required for toll collection and easing traffic congestion, even if the distance-based toll collection system is introduced. <P>SOLUTION: When entrance/exit time information from roadside equipment (exist side) is received, a toll road management center server retrieves corresponding records in vehicle traveling information. Specifically, the toll road management center server preliminarily manages association information, by associating the on-vehicle unit ID of an on-vehicle unit shipped as a toll road pass kit with electronic money card ID to be used as refund destination information to indicate the refund destination of an excess toll. Then, when exit time information is received from the roadside device (exist side), the toll road management center server acquires the electronic money card ID associated with the on-vehicle ID included in the exit time information from among the association information, and retrieves the records corresponding to the acquired electronic money card ID from the vehicle traveling information, and acquires the entrance information in the retrieved records. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
