PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical method for providing a futon (ticking) in which mites cannot survive by equally soaking raw cotton for a futon with aqueous solution of sodium borate, dehydrating and then drying. SOLUTION: The futon is rinsed by aqueous solution of borate, the aqueous solution of borate is recovered by dehydrating, the recovered liquid is purified and reused after concentration adjustment.
