PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior component for an automobile, in which an accessory component is locked and fixed in a mounting opening made in a trim body formed from a resin foam plastic body, the interior component having improved mounting accuracy for an accessory component by increasing locking strength for the accessory component. SOLUTION: The mounting opening 21 is made in the trim body 20 of a luggage side trim 10. A pawl locking flange 22 that is formed from only a solid layer 20a and highly rigid is formed on an edge of the back of the mounting opening 21. An accessory component such as a convenient hook 30 is fitted in the mounting opening 21. The locking pawl 36 is locked into the pawl locking flange 22 of the mounting opening 21, thereby increasing the locking strength to improve the mounting accuracy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
