PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly ensure a plurality of radio channels to be used simultaneously for radio communication while avoiding collision with radio signals transmitted by other radio communication devices too distant for the currently used radio communication device to detect the radio waves, in a radio communication system using the radio channels simultaneously. SOLUTION: The radio communication device STA1 includes: a means 10 for receiving a first signal transmitted through a plurality of radio channels by at least one or more of the plurality of radio channels; a means 10 for carrier sensing for each of the radio channels used for transmitting the first signal; a means 40 for selecting a radio channel to be used for the radio communication among the radio channels in waiting state; and a means 20 for transmitting a signal responding to the first signal through the selected radio channel.
