PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system achieving more comfortable user operation when electric equipment remotely operated by a remote controller performs processing operation using an information recording medium. SOLUTION: Remote controller data, a command for controlling the remote controller, and a reader/writer command are stored in command data cmdDATA in a packet of the same format for transmission. Reader/writer command data rwDATA having long data length and a footer rwFT for reader/writer communication (a parity, or the like for error check) are divided and stored in the command data cmdDATA in a communication packet for transmission, and are received and merged.
