PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetarium apparatus enabling an operator to give an explanation while operating in the audience or in front of the audience distant from an operator console. SOLUTION: The operator in a dome is photographed with one or a plurality of video cameras 1 installed in the dome and the video is captured in a control unit 10. The change in the position of a marker attached to the operator's hand is detected as motion information, and the motion information is analyzed as the operation instructions to the planetarium apparatus intended by the operator, and a control signal is transmitted to each projector and rendering device.
