PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust valve, which will not cause water leak even when water flows from an inflow port into a valve chamber rapidly, and in which vacuum breaking performance is large to be capable of quickly break a vacuum. SOLUTION: On a casing comprising a body 1 and a lid 2, the valve chamber 3 is formed with the inflow port 4 open at a lower part and an outflow port 5 at an upper part. Between the valve chamber 3 and the outflow port 5, a valve seat 6 is formed. The body 1 integrally comprises a plurality of ribs 9 on the inner wall of the valve chamber 3 to project inward. On the inner side of the rib 9, a float receptacle 10 is provided, having a bottom, shaped roughly cylindrical, and provided with through-holes 11 continuous between the inside and the outer side at the bottom. Inside the float receptacle 10, a ball-shaped float 12 is disposed in a free state. The float receptacle 10 is suspended in the valve chamber 3 by a coil spring 13 as an elasticity member. The float receptacle 10 is displaced toward the outflow port 5 by force of water rapidly flowing from the inflow port 4 into the valve chamber 3, and is displaced toward the inflow port 4 by force of outer air flowing from the outflow port 5 into the valve chamber 3.
