PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard device including a display unit and an input unit, and especially, a technique by which to inhibit an erroneous display attributed to input and detection errors. SOLUTION: This electronic blackboard device 20 comprises a display part 121 for displaying entered drawing data, a pen input device 142 for entering the drawing data by a user, a pen input part 130 including a position information detector 140 for detecting a coordinate of a drawing data input position by the user, and CPU 112 which is connected with the display part 121 and a pen input part 131 via a display control part 120 and a pen input control part 130, through an intermediary of a bus 112. When the movement of the following input to the preceding input as regards the drawing data falls within the predetermined upper limit value, CPU 101 decides the following input as valid.
