The invention relates to a machine for recovering the heat generated by cooling assemblies, in order to produce sanitary hot water and to enhance the energy yield of the cooling groups. The machine includes a water condenser (4) for cooling down the coolant gas and condensing the same, converting said gas into a liquid state. The heat generated by the coolant gas is then used for heating water for sanitary use. A hot water pump (3) sucks the water from a cold water tank (12) in order to discharge it towards the water condenser. The water exits the hot water condenser and flows through an electrovalve EV8 (10) up to the sanitary hot water tank (11). If the water is not sufficiently hot in the tank (11), the electrovalve KV6 (8) is opened in order to heat the water from the storage tank by means of the water condenser.
