The forklift has a force measuring device formed as a bending force measuring device (2) and partially as a chassis component. The device is formed as a rear axle and/or a steering axle, determines an axle load, and has an elastically deformable measuring section, at which deformations caused by bending loads are measured. The section is formed as double bending arms and is provided with a parallelogram guide. The device has measuring sensors e.g. strain gauge, for measuring bending of the section, where measuring signals of the sensors offset against each other and/or overlay each other.
