#CMT# #/CMT# The device has an electrical conductor (5) surrounded by a casing (12) made of metal such as steel. A ceramic insulator (6) is arranged between the conductor and the metallic casing, where a peripheral wall of the insulator is soldered to the metallic casing using gold-solder or reducing-agent free solder. A metal layer i.e. platinum layer, is formed in a peripheral wall of the insulator and consists of burned metal paste. The insulator consists of oxide ceramic i.e. aluminum oxide. The area surrounding the conductor is sealed within the casing by the insulator in a durable manner. The use of hardenable ceramic mass provides a very firm insulator structure.
