The device has two fork arms (9) attached to a fork carrier plate (4). An adjusting unit includes a drive chain (7) rotatably drivable around two guide wheels (6), which are provided at a distance from each other on a horizontal plane, where the adjusting unit adjusts the fork arms at the fork carrier plate. A hydraulic motor moves the drive chain and rotatably drives a shaft of the guide wheels or a shaft of a separate drive wheel. The fork arms are attached to strands of the drive chains, respectively. An independent claim is also included for an industrial truck comprising a side thrust device. |
