<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed protection structure which is excellent in adaptability to bed fluctuation when an earthquake or the like occurs, in workability when constructed on a bed, and in durability when colliding against various types of gravel. <P>SOLUTION: A multiple sheet pile wall forming member 10 is set up by connecting between webs 15 of a first steel sheet pile 11a and a second steel sheet pile 11b, which are opposite each other, each having joints 16 on both lateral edges, via spacer members 12. Then sheet pile walls 20 which are each set up by alternately arranging the first steel sheet piles 11a and the second steel sheet piles 11b along a river width direction, are formed in a plurality of rows on the bed 5 along a river flowing direction by connecting the joint 16 of each first steel sheet pile 11a and the joint 16 of each second steel sheet pile 11b of the multiple sheet pile wall forming members 10 adjacent to each other in the river width direction.
