<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure proper connection between a metal wire antenna coil and an IC module in a contact/contactless common IC card, by a winding wire transfer method or a contactless single-function IC card. <P>SOLUTION: In the contact/contactless common IC card or the contactless IC card, a card base body 100 is formed by heat sealing between an antenna sheet 101, having a metal wire antenna coil 20 secured to an antenna forming core sheet, by melting the insulating coating film of the winding wire by the winding wire transfer method, and another core sheet 102 covering the above antenna coil plane. On the above card base body 100, an IC module mounting recess and a conducting hollow hole are cut out, so as to mount an IC module and electrically connect between both ends 20a, 20b of the antenna coil and the antenna connecting terminal of the IC module 50. In this IC card, the portion of the both end portion of the antenna coil, having the melted insulating coating film, is positioned so as to be on the contact/contactless common IC module side relative to the metal wire conduction layer itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
