PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manage the update history of a program file in maintenance operation of a task system.

SOLUTION: A maintenance support device 100 receives an improvement request to a business system 200 under operation. An operator corrects a program file in response to an improvement request by a terminal 206 for development. The corrected program file is registered in a correction program storage part 164. The maintenance support device 100 detects a difference prior/posterior to correction as a correction place, and registers the improvement request and the correction place in association in a correction place storage part 166.
