PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device capable of displaying an image easier to see in response to a user's request. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation device 1 is equipped with receiving means 40, 45, 50 for receiving traffic information from a facility outside the vehicle, and a control means 66 for controlling a display means 22 so that the traffic information received by the receiving means is displayed superimposedly on a road image. The on-vehicle navigation device 1 is also equipped with a mode selection means 22 capable of selecting by user operation, a parallel traveling road non-display mode wherein traffic information on a parallel traveling road within a prescribed distance from a traveling road along which own vehicle is traveling in the traffic information is not displayed. The control means controls the display means so that traffic information on the parallel traveling road is not displayed, when the parallel traveling road non-display mode is selected.
