PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient manufacturing method of a thermoelectric conversion unit as an assembly of a number of thermoelectric conversion devices, capable of collecting power in practical manner. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a thermoelectric conversion unit includes a raw material filling process for alternately filling a p-type semiconductor raw material and an n-type semiconductor raw material into each through-hole of a honeycomb, made of a non-metal inorganic material; a semiconductor formation process for forming a p-type semiconductor and an n-type semiconductor in each through-hole of the honeycomb by sintering the p-type semiconductor raw material and the n-type semiconductor raw material filled into the honeycomb; and an electrode junction process for jointing the p-type semiconductor to the n-type semiconductor, formed in the through-hole of the honeycomb by an electrode.
