PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift reset release timing of first and second control parts of a control board, and to achieve fail safe by making the first control part perform initial setting only when reading a prescribed code written in the second control part. SOLUTION: A start method of a controller and the controller are configured to include: performing the reset release of a first control part by a first reset IC after performing the reset release of a second control part by a second reset IC after power supply, and starting the initial setting by the first control part only when reading a prescribed code written in the prescribed register of the second control part by the first control part.
