A method for transmitting information by using a channel quality indicator is provided to reduce the overhead of control information transmission according to the differentiate CQI transmission method. A method for transmitting information by using a channel quality indicator is characterized in that a second channel quality indicator transmits a first channel quality indicator and a second channel quality indicator as a reference value and a differentiate value respectively. If the combination of the reference value and the differentiate value does not indicate the combination of the channel quality indicators within a certain range, the combination is set up to indicate additional information.
