<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital frame which can have an energy saving or power saving function when there is no need for modifying a complex power circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The digital frame with the power saving function includes a timer, a sensor, a displaying unit, and a processing unit. Among them, the timer generates a clock signal, the sensor detects the environmental status and generates a sensing signal, and the displaying unit displays image data. The processing unit controls the sensor and the displaying unit. The processing unit further uses a power control unit to control the power supply according to the clock signal and the sensing signal, so that the digital frame is switched to a normal operation mode. When the processing unit does not receive the sensing signal within a prescribed period counted by the clock signal, the processing unit controls the power supply, so that the digital frame is switched to a power saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
