PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently describe a product without depending on skills of a clerk.

SOLUTION: A content display device includes: a touch panel display 120 which displays a content showing content of a product and is operated by a customer for changing the display content; an operation record processing part 113 for recording contents for plural operations by the touch panel display in an operation log 133; a continuation prospect calculation part 114 for scoring the contents for the plural operations stored in the operation log 133 by a predetermined procedure and obtaining the description continuation prospect by using a total score; a description continuation determination part 116 for determining whether or not the description continuation prospect is over the predetermined value; and a display control unit 112 for displaying on the touch panel display a message to stop the description of the content when it is determined that the description continuation prospect is below the predetermined value.
