摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an optimal arrangement proposal system, an optimal arrangement proposal method, an optimal arrangement proposal program, and a recording medium, for proposing an optimal arrangement of equipment such as a printer, a copier, and a scanner device on a network. <P>SOLUTION: An optimal arrangement proposal system 1 acquires performance values of a plurality of printers ND1 to NDn connected to a network NW and calculates the number of printed sheets recommended for the printers ND1 to NDn on the basis of the performance values and a prescribed coefficient. Also, the system acquires the total actual number of printed sheets of the printers ND1 to NDn to calculate device printing status values to the performance values of the printers ND1 to NDn on the basis of the number of recommended printed sheets and the total actual number of printed sheets of devices, compares the device printing status values with a preset prescribed threshold to determine use frequency with respect to the performance values of the printers ND1 to NDn, and proposes optimal arrangement on the network NW of the printers ND1 to NDn on the basis of the use frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
