<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a motorcycle having a primary expansion bag part capable of quickly drawing up a supporting material to a draw-up completion position. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device 10 for the motorcycle consists of an airbag 11 for deploying and expanding from a storing section 48 near between right and left leg parts LL, LR of an occupant D sitting on a seat to an upper side when a gas for expansion is flowed in, the support material 57 for supporting a front face 11c side of the airbag 11 on expansion completion, a connection belt 32 for connecting the upper part 11a of the airbag and an upper part 57a of the support material. The airbag 11 consists of the primary expansion bag part 20 for drawing up the supporting material by utilizing the connection belt and a secondary expansion bag part 21. A supply port 19 of the gas G for expansion for the secondary expansion bag part is provided for a section wall 18 for separating the primary expansion bag part and the secondary expansion bag part.
