APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING COAL ASH HAVING FINE PARTICLE DIAMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy generation of fly ash having a fine particle diameter with a simple constitution.

SOLUTION: An apparatus for generating coal ash having a fine particle diameter installed in a dust removal system 100 for coal ash is provided with a generating tank 110 which stores acidic underflow water discharged from a dust removal tower thickener 102 and generates fly ash having a fine particle diameter in precipitated ash in the underflow water by mixing caustic soda with the underflow water. A treatment tank 200 which mixes caustic soda with the underflow water to adjust pH as predetermined and then send it to the generating tank 110 may be installed between the dust removal tower thickener 102 and the generating tank 110.
