<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce display deterioration in depression without increasing the number of components in a liquid crystal display device with a touch panel having an electrode to be used as both display and pressure sensitive sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A conductor is arranged oppositely to one of the front and rear faces of a liquid crystal cell 10 so as to be isolated by a prescribed distance from a liquid crystal substrate 12. An electrode arranged in the liquid crystal cell is defined as one electrode 14, and conductive materials arranged in the other member are defined as the other electrode 34, and a position on the liquid crystal display is detected based on the position of electrical capacitance change in depression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
