<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy saving and to provide air conditioning comfortable to a user by carrying out operation in response to an indoor air conditioning load even after off timer completion. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is equipped with a human body vicinity temperature detecting means 4, a suction temperature detecting means 5 for detecting a suction temperature of the air conditioner, a temperature setting means 6 for setting a target temperature, a differential temperature determining means 3 for determining a differential temperature between the target temperature and the suction temperature, an off timer means 1 for stopping operation of the air conditioner at an off timer time, and an activity amount detecting means 8 for detecting an activity amount of a human body. The air conditioner is operated or stopped in response to situations of a temperature of a human body vicinity, the activity amount of the human body, an outdoor temperature, and an indoor temperature after off timer operation. By this, additional operation is carried out and the user can sleep without discomfort when the air conditioning load is large, and consumption of wasteful energy can be prevented by not carrying out excessive operation when the air-conditioning load is small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
