<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in an image processing apparatus in which an area sensor is attached, in an inclined manner for obtaining a plurality of frames of image data with a slight phase shift necessary for performing super-resolution processing, since a plurality of frames of inclined image data are input, when the inclination is corrected, circuit scale is impressed, memory capacity is increased and system load are imposed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processing apparatus provided with an area sensor which is formed by arranging pixel sensors A-D in a two-dimensional array and is attached in an inclined manner with respect to a reference installation position, a sensor reads, from the pixel sensors arranged within the area sensor determined on the basis of an inclination angle indicating the inclination of the area sensor from the reference installation position, image data in which the inclination has been corrected, and a plurality of frames of image data having a shift of less than one pixel are obtained by scanning an original document image once by the sensor. These image data are used to perform interpolation processing and high resolution conversion is performed to obtain image data with a resolution higher than resolutions of the pixel sensors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
