PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of executing a novel performance using a decorative symbol column and suppressing the decline of game amusements. SOLUTION: In a decorative symbol column storage means 3030, left and right common decorative symbol columns comprising a first decorative symbol group in which four kinds of numeral symbols are arrayed in such an order that a blank symbol is not held therebetween and a second decorative symbol group in which four kinds of numeral symbols equal to the first decorative symbol group are arrayed in such an order that the blank symbol is alternately held therebetween are stored. Then, when the variation of the left common decorative symbol column is temporarily stopped such that a part of the second decorative symbol group becomes visible in the main display area of a liquid crystal display device 640, the performance of eliminating the blank symbols included in the second decorative symbol group one by one over a prescribed number of times and moving the numeral symbol adjacent one symbol before the blank symbol in the variation direction of the common decorative symbol column is executed.
