PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an external equipment interface group for achieving both convenience on connection and a power saving property in an information recording/reproduction device. SOLUTION: This information recording/reproduction device is connected through a USB-I/F9 to which power is normally supplied in order to perform access from a PC 30 having the control program of a recording/reproduction procedure to an HDD 14 or a flash memory 12 in a video camera 29. On the other hand, this information recording/reproduction device is connected through an SATA-I/F 15 to an external ODD 31 for dabbing having the control program of a recording/reproduction procedure only when it is instructed by a user by an SW 20 or only when power is supplied from an AC adaptor 17 by the control of a CPU in the video camera 29. Thus, its connection to the PC 30 is achieved in optional timing, and the power saving of the I/F to the external ODD 31 is achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
