PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller materializing acceleration required by a driver, and making the driver physically feeing an increasing feeling of the acceleration. SOLUTION: An acceleration requirement reflected with acceleration intention of the driver based on an operation state to an accelerator pedal 14 provided in a vehicle 1 and a speed of the vehicle 1 are respectively acquired, a target jerk that is a target value of jerk imparted as a change amount of the acceleration related to the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle 1 is set, a requirement acceleration is calculated based on the acquired and set acceleration requirement, speed and target jerk, and an internal combustion engine 1 provided in the vehicle 1 is operated such that the requirement acceleration is obtained.
