PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a member in an air duct which can suppress air leakage and save space. SOLUTION: This structure 1 for mounting a member in an air duct by inserting the member into an opening 4 formed in the air duct 3 of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises: a cylindrical wall 14 inserted into and fitted to a vertical wall 11; an annular locking wall 15 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall, locked to an inner wall 12 when the member is inserted, and guided in the circumferential direction on the inner wall; an arcuate engagement wall 16 partially formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall in the circumferential direction and guided in the circumferential direction on the rear surface of the inner wall after the member is inserted to the rear surface of the inner wall through a cutout 13; and an outer pawl 17 installed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall, engaged with the top surface of the vertical wall when the member is inserted, and after the member is inserted, guided in the circumferential direction on the top surface of the vertical wall.
