PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing device for optimally performing writing regardless of size of image data to be written when writing the image data to be output next before initializing all the output image data. SOLUTION: Writing of the image data by a second writing control part 4 and writing of white data by a first writing control part 3 are performed in parallel to a page memory 2. At such a time, propriety of writing of the image data by the second writing control part 4 is set according to the precedence degree of an address in which the white data are written to an address in which the image data are written.
