PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor system for accurately quantifying a substrate of a dehydrogenase the coenzyme of which is a NAD<SP>+</SP>and a NADP<SP>+</SP>with no effect by a dissolved oxygen, inexpensively manufactured, and excellent in the portability. SOLUTION: The biosensor of the invention is the biosensor system for detecting the substrate of the dehydrogenase the coenzyme of which is the NAD<SP>+</SP>and the NADP<SP>+</SP>, and includes: an optical fiber probe composed by connecting a light entering optical fiber and a light receiving optical fiber; an ultraviolet light-emitting diode for causing ultraviolet rays having a particular wavelength to enter into the light entering optical fiber; and a detector for detecting an fluorescence excited and generated by an incident light entering from the ultraviolet light-emitting diode through the light receiving optical fiber.
