PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deviation preventing device of a sliding type pile head base isolation device, preventing a structure from overturning exceeding a stroke limit of displacement even in case of a big earthquake. SOLUTION: This deviation preventing device of the sliding type pile head base isolation device includes: a bowl form lower pedestal 4 rigid joined to the pile head; a pile head fixed plate 3; a restrain body 6 holding a sliding ball 5 coming into contact with the bowl form lower pedestal 4; a cup shaped circular footing 7 to which the restrain body 6 is fixed, and which is connected to a bridge pier; and a hooked lock device 8 formed on the lower end inner edge of the cup shaped circular footing 7 and locked on the pile head fixed plate 3.
