PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball storage tank which can prevent the swelling of side walls outward even under the pressure of stored balls. SOLUTION: The ball storage tank 200 is formed out of a rectangular recessed chamber 201 opened upward and has a discharge port 38a of a ball passage 38 into which balls flow from outside located almost at the center along the length of the upper opening of the recessed chamber. The recessed chamber has a vacant part 201a formed almost at the center along its length, a pair of inclined plates 215 and 216 declined to its end part from the side of the vacant part sandwiching the vacant part, a plurality of construction members 211-214 (rod like members) with a tensile strength which are inserted into through-holes bored respectively in both side walls erected along the length to place the pair of inclined plates and nuts 225-232 (screw members) which are screwed down through the construction members on the sides of both ends to contact the outside of both the side walls.
