PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distal end hood for an endoscope which makes it possible to easily observe even a surface on the back side of the rugged part of an inspection object with the endoscope and is capable of preventing the inspection object from being damaged when inserting and removing the insertion part of the endoscope further. SOLUTION: The distal end hood for the endoscope is provided with: a hood body comprising an attaching part detachably attached to the end part on the distal end side of the insertion part, and a cover part which is an almost cylindrical member connected to the end part on the insertion part distal end side of the attaching part, and whose part more on the distal end side than an observation window in the extending direction of the insertion part is transparent; a reflection mirror disposed in the space formed of the inner peripheral surface of the cover part, for reflecting the image of the inspection object toward the observation window; and an angle adjusting mechanism for turning the reflection mirror with one point of the connection part of the reflection mirror and the cover part as an axis and changing an angle formed by the reflection surface of the reflection mirror and a surface in parallel with the observation window.
