A ball bearing for a clutch release bearing device, which is capable of effectively preventing the internal pressure in the device from excessively rising while having a high sealing performance and enabling lowering of a torque. The ball bearing (10) is incorporated in the clutch release bearing device (1) interposed between an engine and a transmission. The ball bearing comprises an inner ring (11) and an outer ring (12) so installed as to be capable of rotating relative to each other through balls (13), and seal members (15, 16) for sealing the annular space formed between both rings (11, 12). The inner diameter end part (15b) of the first seal member (15) is slidably and axially brought into contact with the inner ring (11), more specifically, a first flange part (11b) formed at the engine side one end of the inner ring (11).
