<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and simply configured industrial burner capable of enhancing energy efficiency by effectively recovering heat contained in exhaust gas at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A nozzle part (19) is provided at a tip end side of a fuel supply passage (18) formed along the central axis of a combustion cylinder (17). An air supply passage (21) is formed on the outside of the fuel supply passage (18) between the base end side of the combustion cylinder (17) and the nozzle part (19). An outer cylinder body (22) is disposed on the outside of the combustion cylinder (17). An exhaust gas inlet (12) is opened between a position in the combustion cylinder (17) near the tip end and the outer cylinder body (22), and an exhaust gas outlet (23) is opened on the base end side of the outer cylinder body (22). An exhaust gas passage (13) is formed between the exhaust gas inlet (12) and the exhaust gas outlet (23) along the air supply passage (21).
