<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferably keep the sealing property for fuel gas or oxidant gas, lighten a load in the stacking direction, and secure the desirable sealing property for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A separator 38 includes a pinch-holding part 46 in which an electrolyte-electrode assembly 36 is pinch-held and a fuel gas passage 52 and an oxidant gas passage 56 are individually formed; a fuel gas supply part 42 in which a fuel gas supply communication hole 40 for supplying fuel gas to the fuel gas passage 52 is formed in the stacking direction; and a seal member 66 being arranged in accordance with the outer periphery of the fuel gas supply communication hole 40.
