<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact prevention device that unfailingly prevents an operator from contacting fixed contact terminals and is installed at comparatively low costs. <P>SOLUTION: The contact prevention device is used for a switch gear with a leading breaker stored in a storing section of a box body so as to be led out and having movable contact terminals connected to a plurality of fixed contact terminals each having one end connected to a main circuit, and substantially covers protective covers provided around the fixed contact terminals to prevent an operator from contacting the fixed contact terminals. The contact prevention device has a long-groove-like insertion groove 31 for allowing the plurality of protective covers 18 to be inserted, and configured so that part of both walls oppositely each other in the longitudinal direction of the insertion groove 31 is formed of elastic members 32 made of a material having elasticity, and the length of the longitudinal direction of the insertion groove can be adjusted by the expansion/shrinkage of the elastic members 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
