<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start control device for an internal combustion engine further improved in starting performance at a low temperature in the internal combustion engine driven by burning the mixed fuel of gasoline and alcohol. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a heater 12 provided at a downstream side of an auxiliary fuel injection valve 11 in an intake passage 3, a second fuel pressure pump 23 applying pressure on the mixed fuel 21 to be supplied to the auxiliary fuel injection valve 11, a water temperature sensor 41 detecting a temperature Tw of cooling water in a water jacket of an engine body 1, and an electronic control unit 40 controlling the auxiliary fuel injection valve 11 and the second fuel pressure pump 23 based on a first data map when the temperature of cooling water detected by the water temperature sensor is not higher than a first prescribed value T1 and controlling the heater 12 based on a second data map when the temperature of cooling water detected by the water temperature sensor 41 is not higher than a second prescribed value T2 which is lower than the first prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
