ANTHRACENE DERIVATIVE, LIGHT-EMITTING MATERIAL, LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT, LIGHT-EMITTING APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anthracene derivative, a new material of blue light emission with high color purity using the anthracene derivative and a light-emitting element, a light-emitting apparatus, and electronic equipment using the new material.

SOLUTION: The anthracene derivative comprises a carbazole derivative functional group bonded through a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group or a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyl-4,4'-diyl group at both positions of the 9-position and the 10-position of anthracene or at only one position. The light-emitting element uses the anthracene derivative. The light-emitting device and the electronic device are incorporated with the light-emitting element.
