<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep heat insulation performance over a long time in a vacuum heat insulation material. <P>SOLUTION: The heat insulation performance can be kept over a long time in such a way that an adsorbent 4 enclosed in decompression within a jacket material 3 with a core material 2b comprises a gas adsorbent and a moisture adsorbent within a hardly gas permeable vessel, and the gas adsorbent and the moisture adsorbent are housed in each independent vacuum space by a partition. Because the gas adsorbent and the moisture adsorbent are housed within the hardly gas permeable vessel, deterioration of the gas adsorbent due to handling in atmospheric air can be suppressed. Because gas dewatered by the moisture adsorbent is adsorbed after adapted to the vacuum heat insulation material 1, deactivation caused by moisture adsorption of the gas adsorbent can be suppressed.
