PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder which is equipped with a coolant nozzle or a grindstone front cover that dispenses with adjustment of a mounting position, and need not to be arranged at each grinding position even if index grinding is carried out. SOLUTION: The grinder 1 is formed of: a bed 10; a traverse base 20; a grinding head 30 borne by the traverse base 20; a grinding wheel 31 mounted on the grinding head 30; a spindle head 40 arranged on the bed 10, for supporting a workpiece W by the grinding wheel 31; and a coolant nozzle 60 supported by the traverse base 20 while being positioned to the same, for feeding a coolant to a grinding point of the workpiece W by the grinding wheel 31.
