PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate system construction with a terminal equipment which outputs two or more forms of binary data, and an application part which processes the data by a standard data format. SOLUTION: In a data processing system equipped with a terminal equipment 1 which outputs two or more forms of binary data, and an application part 2 which processes the data by the standard data format, a data parser 3 parses two or more forms of binary data serial-transmitted from the terminal equipment, using a format definition with a recursive structure, converts it into the standard data format with a name, and outputs it to the application part. The format definition of the data parser can handle a start mark of the binary data, an end mark, an escape, a location and a name of data, a switch for expressing the data structure, a bit data, and repetition.
