Disclosed are: a food composition; a feed composition for prolonging a life span of an animal; and a method for feeding an animal by using the feed composition. Specifically disclosed is a food composition or a feed composition for prolonging a life span of an animal, which comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a polyamine represented by formula (1) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
