Disclosed are an antenna, which is small, possesses input characteristics that are matched in each of various bands, and is able to maintain non-directionality, and a wireless communication device equipped with said antenna. The antenna (101) of the present invention is equipped with a ground conductor (11), a short pin (13) made from a conductor, and a radiation conductor (12), one end (21) of which is connected to the ground conductor (11) via the short pin (13), the other end (22) of which is open, and is supplied power from a feeding point (23) at one of the ends, said antenna (101) being characterized in that radiation conductor (12) is folded back between one end (21) and the other end (22), a folded-back upper arm (25) and a lower arm (24) are configured near the ground conductor (11), and at least a portion of the lower arm (24) or the upper arm (25) has a meandering shape (26). |
