The invention relates to a wireless or cordless phone, such as cell phone or mobile phone. The phone comprises at least two loudspeakers (5, 15). The loudspeakers (5, 15) are arranged to function in a handsfree mode and handheld mode respectively. According to the invention at least one of the loudspeakers functions (15) as a microphone in addition to or as a replacement for a dedicated microphone. The loudspeakers (5, 15) arc connected to sound input (25) and sound output units (24, 26) through a switching array (20) for arranging the suitable connections according to the different functioning modes.
