A brew using an onion and method for manufacturing the same are provided to activate local economy with stable income by increasing the demand of onion. A method for manufacturing brew using an onion comprises: a step of steaming the onion (st11, st12); a step of drying and pulverizing the onion to obtain a pulverized onion (st13); a step of dipping to obtain a first fermentation liquid (st14); a step of adding starch and herbal medicine and dipping again to obtain a second fermentation liquid (st16); and a step of filtering the second fermentation liquid (st18, st19).
